Thy Word

Psalms 119:105  Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Not only does God's Word shine around our present circumstances, but His Word lights our path ahead. He is aware of all our circumstances (Psalm 139:3).

It is the very same Word of God which guided our Lord and Savior to the cross and gave Him hope of the joy ahead (Psalm 16:11, Hebrews 12:2).

There is no good reason for us to walk in confusion, misunderstanding or darkness of God's will. 

When we are walking in the light of His Word our past no longer has a hold on us, because the past is in the darkness and His light shines more and more on the pathway ahead (Proverbs 4:18).

1 John 1:7

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
