The LORD's sacrifice

WORDs of Saving Grace - the LORD's sacrifice
Zephaniah 1:7  Hold thy peace at the presence of the Lord GOD: for the day of the LORD is at hand: for the LORD hath prepared a sacrifice, he hath bid his guests.

If we read the previous scripture and understand to whom this is referenced; we clearly see it is written to those who went back from the Lord.

And He reminds that He doesnt need a sacrifice from man and it is better to listen than to give the sacrifice of fools (Ecclesiastes 5:1). Because His time is nearer now than it ever has been.

He invites His guests to come and they refuse, yet He continues to call. Not because men are righteous and holy; but because He, the Lord God has made the sacrifice of Himself.

All things are ready. He has prepared them by His cross!

Matthew 22:3,4
And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
