Praise God ! we are not dependant upon our own might and power to overcome and dominate our inward sinful lust, passions and pride (Zechariah 4:6).
He works His righteousness in us by grace (Romans 5:17) and grace comes by humility - not by pride (James 4:6)... Not a proud Christian, but a humble, submissive, surrendered heart (Psalm 51:17).
If we glory or if we boast, we brag about the cross of Jesus Christ; where He subdued our iniquity and cast our sins away never Never NEVER to be held against again.
Galatians 6:14
But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
