The Holiest

WORDs of Saving Grace - the holiest

Hebrews 10:19  Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

The Old testament priests could not come before the presence of God if he was unclean. God's law requires absolute perfection (Leviticus 21:17-23).

However although God's presence would meet the priest in this temporary tabernacle it was not the holiest of all (Hebrews 9:8). The Way to the holiest had not been completed yet.

Now by a new and living way we come to God's presence with confidence and assurance; not by animals blood, but by the blood of Jesus. Not by our perfection and holiness bu by His grace and mercy.

Hebrews 4:16  Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
